Women United for Economic Empowerment

Women United for Economic Empowerment (WUEE) is a nonprofit in Akwa Ibom State advancing women’s and children’s rights, economic empowerment, and inclusive governance. Since 2002, it has supported women’s self‑sufficiency, trained diverse community groups, and strengthened democratic participation through initiatives like ActionAid’s SCEEP and a UNDEF project that trained 20,000 citizens, 20 CSOs, and 54 LGA Chairmen in accountable local governance.
