Since inception of AAP, we have not yet received any donor fund, however, we have transformed young people and women to appreciate the fact that poverty reduction can be done through urban agriculture and skills development through Learning by Doing and mentorship programme. All majority have created jobs, and some have been employed by private firms to run their businesses with a great success. We could achieve more and widely if we were able to secure funds and reach out more young people. Transformed minds of young people that they can earn their living through skills development and harnessing resources available such as land and technology to grow food, raise small stocks and earn income be it in urban or rural settings.
