Fundraising Initiatives

Connected 300 persons with disabilities to social cash transfer under the Ministry of Community Development and Social Development. Supported 240 women-led households with descent businesses to provide for their children in Kazungula rural and Livingstone districts. Trained 487 rural households of Gwembe, Lukonde ward encompassing 54 villages with climate resilience skills, alternatives to charcoal burning, and re-planting of trees. Acquired 40 hectares of land to build a skills center for training persons with disabilities, women, and vulnerable youths in different livelihood skills. Sensitized over 3,000 people in transparency and accountability of public resources and decentralization of fiscal policies and the role of communities in monitoring its usage and how they can tap into those funds as it is taxpayers' monies that belong to them on the grassroots. Acquired an additional hectares of land under the organization where farming is done annually to aid persons with disabilities. The proceeds go towards purchasing vital assistive devices like wheelchairs, hearing aids, walking aids, etc. We also provide basic foodstuffs and medical supplies for severely disabled children and women. We have sponsored 50 vulnerable kids with school supplies.
