Meta Foundation has made significant strides in transforming lives and fostering sustainable development across Ghana, particularly in Northern Ghana. Over the years, we have implemented impactful initiatives in agriculture, climate resilience, health and sanitation, good governance and peacebuilding, and livelihood development, empowering disadvantaged communities to break the cycle of poverty and marginalization. Through projects such as the Action for Women Empowerment and UNDP Adaptation Fund Project, we have facilitated peaceful co-existence between farmers and Fulani herdsmen, ensuring equitable access to natural resources while promoting social cohesion and gender-inclusive climate resilience. Collaborations with stakeholders, including the Upper East Regional Peace Council, have strengthened peacebuilding mechanisms, reducing land and communal conflicts in vulnerable communities. Meta Foundation’s work in sustainable agriculture, supported by partners like ACDI/VOCA and USAID, has enhanced the productivity and resilience of smallholder farmers. Over 5,000 women and youth have been trained in agro-enterprise and financial inclusion, fostering economic independence and stability across the Upper East, Bono East, Ashanti, and North Regions. By championing clean energy advocacy, early warning systems, and integrated community dialogues, Meta Foundation addresses both immediate and systemic challenges. Our commitment to health, child protection, and education, as evidenced by projects with UNICEF and Felix Foundation, continues to empower the next generation and uplift resource-poor communities. Meta Foundation’s holistic approach integrates peace, prosperity, and sustainability, ensuring lasting impact for the communities we serve.
