Africa Voices Dialogue (AVD) is a dynamic Pan-African initiative that has emerged as a pivotal force in activating and nurturing learning ecosystems across and beyond the continent. Initiated in September 2020, AVD was born from a yearning for deeper connection and mutual support among African education stakeholders. Rooted in the principles of "Nia" (intent), Umoja (unity), and Ubuntu (reciprocity and belonging) and the cultivation of communities of care and belonging, AVD has rapidly evolved into a vibrant family of over 2,000 individuals, representing a wide diversity of geographies, organisations, and interests across the continent. Africa Voices Dialogue’s commitment is to create spaces where the voices of all those who care about learning and human thriving in Africa can be “seen, heard, and loved”. This diverse community fosters connection, relationship-building, and a profound sense of intergenerational collaboration, evoking the emergence of nested hubs and networks of collaborating interest group partners.
