The Okito Foundation is a non-profit organization in Uganda dedicated to supporting refugees. It's focus is on empowering women, youth, and vulnerable individuals to achieve self-sufficiency by providing training in skills such as tailoring and hairdressing. These activities have proven instrumental in enabling refugees to sustain themselves through creating and selling clothes and offering hairdressing services. Additionally, the organization offers English language classes as proficiency in English is essential for employment in Uganda. It provides music lessons to support youth who are interested in music and aspire to become musicians or working in recording studios.
