Okito foundation is a refugee nonprofit organization here in Uganda. We are empowering woman, youth and vulnerable how to live on their own by helping them with some skills like : tailoring, hairdressing . This two activities are really helping refugees to survive without depending on people. Because now they can make clothes and sell them out. Now the can know how to do hair and also they can work in the beauty saloons. Apart from that, we are also empowering them by teaching them how to speak English. Because here in Uganda you can’t work without knowing English. For some youth we are teaching them how to play music because some they need to be musicians and also they can strive for their lives when working in the studio
